WHAT IS A HOUSE CLEARANCE?
A house clearance can involve clearing the contents of an entire property belonging to a deceased relative, friend, downsizing from a large house to a smaller property or just looking to sell collections/items that are no longer required.
We are dealers of antiques and collectables,
I clarify this as I do not want to waste your time if it is just rubbish clearance you are looking for. We will remove items of little or no value, including old unwanted items if this forms part of a larger clearance, otherwise clearing just a house full of "junk" will be chargeable.

DO YOU CLEAR OUTBUILDINGS?
Yes, we do. Over the years we have carried out numerous, shed and garage clearances coupled with our house and business operations if there are items of value to us.
WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
In the first instance, call us/email us.
We will contact you and arrange to meet at the property to assess what there is and to evaluate the value to us if there is no or little value we will evaluate the cost to you to clear all the items.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR ASSESSING THIS?
In a word, NO. To meet with you, assess and give you a price to purchase your items/clear the contents are free.
Ideally if there are a number of buyable items then we will evaluate the entire collection and then negotiate a price with you that works for us both.
WHAT TIME FRAME TO COMPLETE?
This will be solely dependant on the size of the property and the items that need clearing - we are very efficient, tidy and professional.
If the property needs to be cleared for sale we can arrange for everything to be disposed of that is not buyable and arrange cleaners if required.
DO YOU CARRY OUT PROBATE VALUATIONS?
Yes, we do offer probate valuations, which are performed with a fixed fee and no other hidden charges. Our probate work is undertaken via both legal firms and members of the public.
What is the cost?
We charge £100.00 per hour for written probate valuations.
We charge £85.00 per hour or 1.5% for written insurance valuations, whichever is greater.
We will issue a receipt that can be used to claim against the estate if appropriate.
What type of items do you buy?
We will buy most items that are deemed antique or collectable.
What don't you buy?
Modern furniture and items we do not buy but are happy to recommend charities we support or assist with passing it on to a charity of your choice.
How do you make payment?
We can pay cash, bank transfer or cheque, whatever you prefer.
